Grey Aura


Definition – Keeper of secrets, adaptability, compromise, ability to merge into background.

Positive – A silver dove grey can indicate the person is a peacemaker, they remain neutral in hostile situations.

Negative – A dull grey suggests depression. A pale grey can be a sign of unwillingness to challenge or indecision

Physical Associations – A clear dove grey is a good sign of a person not easily given to stress, they can maintain a stable constitution.

A pale grey can suggest a depleted anger store, thus their immune system may not be as effective as normal.

Grey rules the subconscious mind, the bones and the etheric body.

Chakra associated with this is the Root Chakra.

Gray is a color of initiation. It can indicate a movement toward unveiling innate abilities. Can indicate a feeling trapped in their life.

Those shades of gray that lean more toward the silver reflect an awakening of the feminine energies.

Those are the energies and abilities of illumination, intuition and creative imagination.

Grey is not generally a good sign, therefore, unless it’s silvery, like fog, or water, delicate, and fine textured.

If it’s full of sediment, grainy, falling off at the edges, not a smooth round edge, but dangling toward the bottom, the person may have ruined his health with smoking cigarettes, often, or some other dissipation of his life force, usually behavioral rising out of emotional.

There can be a not caring about the world, or a desperate holding onto it, which can call in even darker colors, like deep brown, in pockets.

The person may be very ill, from whatever cause, even near death, or he may be not manifesting that at the time physically, but in mood, or personality.

The darker, grainier grey auras aren’t fully there, and are not generally very healthy to be around without strengthening your own aura to be its own color fully, and keep some boundaries.


They may not be very inspiring, at least at the time the grey is showing, and they may leave you with a grey tinged that you see the world through, and don’t know why nothing seems as scintillating any more.

Using sage, or salt with water after meaningful interactions can be a good precaution to keep your own colors bright.

It’s important for them to maintain the status quo – they prefer a safe, secure, and balanced existence, never desiring much excitement. They’re a middle of the road type, cool, conserved, composed and reliable. They’re hard workers who just gets on with the job that needs to be done. Grays can me indecisive, lacking confidence – a fence-sitter who finds it difficult to make choices in most situations. They like to be in control of their emotions and avoid experiencing emotional pain by shutting off from them entirely. They tend to make fair and balanced judgments, making good critics because of their emotional detachment. They prefer not to get involved in things. They’re quite independent and individual in their attitude, lacking a bit in imagination and creativity that gives them a narrow outlook and sometimes prevents them from being open to new ideas and opportunities.
